Union Fire Company and Rescue Squad names volunteer of the year

The Union Fire Company and Rescue Squad presented Greg Robinson with its Volunteer of the Year Award.

Robinson received the award on Feb. 25 at the fire company and rescue squad’s annual banquet that was held at the Washington Crossing Inn in Washington Crossing, Pa.

“He received the award for his many hours as a volunteer at Union and for the many responsibilities that he undertakes,” according to former Hopewell Township Police Chief Mike Chipowsky.

Union Fire Company and Rescue Squad is located in Titusville and Washington Crossing. They provide residents in around Hopewell Township with fire, medical and marine services.

The fire company and rescue squad consist of more than 30 members, according to the Union Fire Company and Rescue Squad website.
