Pro-Palestine and anti-Israel graffiti were spray-painted at two Princeton University eating clubs Dec. 23 and additional graffiti was spray-painted on a wall near the Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment on Dec. 24, according to published reports.
“Free Gaza” was spray-painted on one side of the cannon in front of Cannon Dial Elm Club and an anti-Israel message was spray-painted on the other side, according to The Daily Princetonian.
The vandals also spray-painted “Free Gaza” on the wall in front of the Cottage Club on Prospect Avenue, the reports said.
The Cannon Dial Elm Club and the Cottage Club serve meals and function as social clubs for Princeton University undergraduate students. They are privately owned and not affiliated with Princeton University.
The incidents, which have been categorized as bias intimidation and criminal mischief, are under investigation by the Princeton Police Department’s Detective Bureau.
