The winning images hang as a gallery in the municipal building

Winners of Hopewell Township’s 2022 Photo Contest were able to see their photos shine on display inside the municipal building as the Hopewell Township Committee congratulated them on their work.

The winners were invited to the Township Committee meeting on March 20 to be congratulated and recognized for their photos by Mayor Michael Ruger and Committee members.

Their winning images have been printed in large format and hang as a gallery on the walls of the Municipal Building auditorium. They will be displayed throughout 2023, in addition to being printed in the 2023 Municipal Calendar titled Scenes of Hopewell Township 2023, according to the township.

Ruger delivered a proclamation, and a copy was given to each photographer.

In 2022, the township held its photo contest. After a public vote, 15 pictures of Hopewell Township were chosen from among the 119 images submitted.

“The photo contest was a fun way for the residents of the township to show both their creativity and love for their hometown,” said Reba Holley, Hopewell Township’s communications and outreach manager, who administered the contest.

“The winners were delighted to be recognized and to have their pictures brighten up the auditorium. I hope everyone will enter the contest for 2023.”

The public is invited to stop by the Hopewell Township Municipal Building during regular business hours or in the evening during meetings to view the display.
