Police investigating homicide at Old Bridge residence

OLD BRIDGE – Police are investigating an alleged homicide of a 65-year-old woman in her Hanna Lane residence, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Acting Chief Donald Fritz Jr., of the Old Bridge Police Department.

Authorities received a 911 call at approximately 11:05 a.m. Sept. 17 reporting that a female was found unresponsive in her home by a relative, according to a press release through the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office on Sept. 19.

Police responded to the residence on Hanna Lane and located Deborah Brown-Hepworth, 65, who was subsequently pronounced deceased, according to the press release.

The investigation is active and ongoing. Anyone with information or surveillance footage of the area is asked to call Detective Addie Spinola of the Old Bridge Police Department at 732-721-5600 ext. 3181 or Detective Mark Morris of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office at 732-745-3927.
