The results of the general election will remain unofficial until they are certified by the county.

Mayor James Davy, a Democrat, will carry out the two years left on former Mayor Joe Lawver’s unexpired term after earning the seat after the General Election. He was appointed to the position on June 7 when Lawver resigned during the summer.

Davy received 551 votes during the Nov. 2 General Election, as of press time.

For the two open council seats, incumbent Councilwoman Deborah Gnatt and newcomer Nadine Stern, both Democrats, each secured a three-year term.

In the general election, Stern received 542 votes and Gnatt earned 539 votes, as of press time.
