Hulfish Street will be closed overnight March 2 for emergency transformer replacement

PSE&G has determined that two underground transformers located on Hulfish Street are in need of urgent replacement.

In an effort to avoid any unexpected outage or possible failure/fire they have scheduled the replacement of the equipment for March 2.

The work will require the overnight closure of Hulfish Street from Palmer Square West to Palmer Square East from 9 p.m. to approximately 7 a.m.

No power outages are anticipated as a result of this work.

There will be a crane on-site to handle the replacement of equipment, Pedestrians should avoid the work area which will be in front of Mediterra restaurant along the curb.
