Election results: Cranbury Township Committee, school board

Elections were held for seats on the Township Committee and Board of Education in Cranbury Township on Nov. 3.

The results listed reflect what has been posted online by the Middlesex County Clerk’s Office as of Nov. 3. Mail-in ballots can be received through Nov. 10, and provisional ballots will be tabulated post-Nov. 11. Certification is expected as of Nov. 20.

The results are not final and it is not know when the results will be final.

The results of the election will remain unofficial until they are certified.

Cranbury Township Committee, one seat available:

Incumbent Democrat Matt Scott, currently serving as mayor, received 1,014 votes.

Republican Joseph Buonavolonta received 494 votes.

There were 0 write-in votes cast.

Cranbury School Board of Education, three seats available:

Incumbent Robert Christopher received 1,089 votes.

Incumbent Lisa Rue received 1,074 votes.

Colleen Raymond received 1,059 votes.

There were 3 write-in votes cast.
