To safeguard supporters, Hackensack Meridian Raritan Bay Medical Center Foundation has moved its annual reception, originally scheduled for May 1, to a virtual fundraising event.

The foundation will host a program that donors can stream live to continue to raise funds for the expansion of the Emergency Department at Hackensack Meridian Raritan Bay Medical Center in Old Bridge. The link for the program will be available in the days leading up to the virtual fundraising event.

The program will include an opportunity for members of the public to have coronavirus-related questions answered by Raritan Bay Medical Center leadership and physicians and will offer information about the role the Emergency Department is playing in the fight.

“Now, more than ever, access to advanced emergency services and technology are critical,” said Joseph Stampe, president and chief development officer, Hackensack Meridian – Meridian Health Foundation. “Our fundraising efforts will not only have an impact on the future of emergency services at Old Bridge, but will also help reinforce that we are all in this together and that we are looking forward to a brighter future. Events such as this, will help Hackensack Meridian Health be prepared should another health emergency, such as that of COVID-19, strike our communities again.”

The Raritan Bay Medical Center Reception is chaired by Stacey Citron, Stacey Hernandez, and Jessica Smith, who also serves as a Raritan Bay Medical Center Foundation trustee.

This year’s diamond sponsor is Hackensack Meridian Raritan Bay Medical Center medical staff; sapphire sponsors are Compass One Healthcare, Investors Bank, Sound Physicians and University Radiology Group, PC; and entertainment underwriters, The Brunetti Foundation and Endoscopy Suite Partners.

Individuals, foundations and corporations interested in supporting the Emergency Department expansion can visit www.hackensackmeridianhealth.org/RBMCReception or call Linda Hill, PharmD, at 732-324-5374 or email linda.hill@hackensackmeridian.org.

All gifts to support the virtual fundraiser will now be 100% tax deductible and without event expenses, will be directed in full to support the expansion of emergency services in Old Bridge.
