Kingston Greenways Association D&R Canal State Park Naturalist Stephanie Fox will introduce participants to a teeming world of water critters, and teach how they can be indicators of water quality, at 1 p.m. on July 20 on the banks of the Millstone River in Kingston.

Sneakers may be worn, but high rubber boots are recommended.

Parking is available in the D&R Canal State Park lot opposite the Locktender’s House. From Route 27, take the turn for Eno Terra restaurant, and make a right; the parking lot is on the right.

Check the website the day before the event, as high water may necessitate holding the event at an alternate location. For more information, visit www.kingstongreenways.org/.
