The North Brunswick Senior Center participated in a penny drive for two weeks to raise money to send to Anne Sheridan, a 100-year-old South Brunswick resident who lost her home in a fire two months ago, to lift her spirits and to let her know North Brunswick is thinking of her. Since the drive raised $48, Senior Center Director Jessica Zink is planning to bring Sheridan a cake, flowers and a card of encouragement. Zink, left, is pictured with Carol Ann LaBarbera.
