Maintaining a stable blood supply is critical to supporting the health of our community. Giving blood is safe, simple, and it saves lives. First-time donors as well as experienced blood donors are needed every day to ensure the right product is available for hospital patients the moment they need it.
Please consider supporting your local blood drive, especially during the summer months when supplies can become critically low. Our next community drive will take place Saturday, June 25, at St. James Church gym on Eglantine Avenue, Pennington, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Appointments and additional information is available at redcrossblood.org. Walk-ins are welcome and babysitting is provided.
