Monmouth County Assembly Members Eric Houghtaling and Joann Downey announced they will be holding an open house to celebrate the grand opening of their District 11 legislative office in Ocean Township on Monday, April 4.
The grand opening, which will be free and open to any and all attendees, will be a chance for constituents and residents to meet the Assembly Members and their staff, discuss local and statewide issues with them, and schedule personal meetings with Assemblyman Houghtaling or Assemblywoman Downey.
“Although our office has been up and running for a couple months now, this is a great opportunity for us to personally introduce ourselves to our constituents. And we want the people we represent to become familiar with our office and our entire staff,” said Downey.
In addition, residents will be able to learn about the many constituent services the office can offer, and speak directly with a constituent services representative.
“Our office can help with senior citizen programs, navigating state agencies,and a lot more. It’s important that our constituents know these programs are available and that we are here to help them,” said Houghtaling.
