Would-be burglars who tried to enter a home in the Hodge Road neighborhood and a home on Lawrenceville Road apparently were scared off by the homeowners’ burglar alarms, according to the Princeton Police Department.
Both attempted burglaries occurred between 6 and 7 p.m. Jan. 18, police said. A burglar alarm was activated at both homes, which caused the would-be burglars to flee.
Residents should keep their homes locked and their house alarms turned on when they are away, police said. For any suspicious activity, call the Princeton Police Department immediately at 609-921-2100.
